OPTIONS

i) SHARED APARTMENT

Live in an individual room in an apartment shared with other students. Apartments vary in size from 2 to 5 bedrooms, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Electricity, gas, and water costs are included. Bed linen and towels are not supplied. Apartments are fully furnished and located in Annecy's surrounding suburbs. This option is available on a monthly basis, starting on the 1st until the 30th or 31st of each month. Participants may choose between Standard and Standard Plus levels of accommodation. Standard provides quality at budget prices and Standard Plus offers superior facilities, for example, room size, furniture and location.

ii) HOST FAMILY

Live with a French family in a welcoming home and learn about French life and culture while improving your French. Host families have been interviewed and selected by Accommodations (Association pour le Logement des Etudiants). Factors taken into account include the cleanliness and comfort of the home, nature of meals (breakfast and evening meals are varied and balanced), family presence, and their ability to welcome international guests. Families are located in Annecy's surrounding residential suburbs. Daily contact with the family members will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture and is an excellent way to learn and experience the French way of living!

Choose Bed & Breakfast (Breakfast provided daily) or Half-Board (Breakfast and Dinner provided daily).

Any special requests should be stated clearly in the Application Form. Requests, such as allergies, special diets, preference for a non-smoking household or one without pets, will be taken into account when placements are made. This option is available on a weekly basis, starting one day before the program and ending 12 noon the day after the program finishes.

iii) STUDIO

Fully furnished studio for 1 person. One main room with kitchenette and a private bathroom. Bed linen is not supplied. Electricity, gas, and water costs are included. Situated in Annecy's surrounding suburbs. This option is available on a monthly basis, starting on the 1st until the 30th or 31st of each month.

iv) APARTMENT

Live in a 1 person furnished private apartment with a bedroom, separate bathroom and separate kitchen. Electricity, gas, and water costs are included. Bed linen and towels are not supplied. Apartments are situated in Annecy's surrounding suburbs. This option is available on a monthly basis, starting on the 1st until the 30th or 31st of each month.

For 4 nights or more, the weekly rates will apply. For Shared Apartments extra accommodation is generally available on a monthly basis. For a Private Studio, extra accommodation is generally available on a weekly basis.

ARRIVAL & ACCESS TO ACCOMMODATION

In order to have access to your accommodation you will need to provide World Link Education with your arrival details, day of arrival, time, and place. This information is required at least 10 days prior to your arrival. Arrangements for keys to the studio or apartment are made in advance.
